Daily Duties at North American Air Defense Command, (Northcom):
Director of Operations: Responsible for the policies, measures, and execution of defending our nation against air attack. Routine day was to produce plans for the future given the political and budgetary horizons. Orchestrate recurring exercises and assess success and failures and take steps to correct shortcomings. Daily status reports regarding equipment (aircraft), crews, and facility readiness were used to correct current and future postures.
