Daily Duties at Avon Products Inc.:

• Communicated with Material Planners to ensure the delivery of materials to meet production plans. • Effectively analyzed the total demand for all material required for the finished good production and developed a plan that considered all resources including equipment, materials, inventory control and labor. • Evaluated the most cost effective source of supply and determined the best method of transportation for all material and finished good delivery. • Ensured new concept products reflected correct BOM usage to all products in order to maintain data integrity in Manugistics and EnterpriseOne. • Successfully managed the transition of production from two third-party manufacturers to Avon owned facilities. This consisted of taking ownership in resolving invoice and inventory discrepancies of over $1 million in value. Also was tasked to manage the movement of active goods and making sure they were transferred to the correct destination, while also issuing dispositions to obsolete/expired goods for destruction. • Partnered with the QA and Engineering teams to ensure all required testing was completed on all products. • Communicated on a daily basis with Third Party Manufacturers about material availability relating to excess inventory, both domestic and international to ensure inventory levels were effectively managed. • Developed weekly scheduling reports consisting of current and future orders while confirming vendors were producing on time and in full. • Successfully achieved inventory goals for Q4 2012 allowing the company to save $200,000. • Effectively maintained a piece-fill-rate of 99 percent during December 2012 through January 2013, which directly affected the fragrance category and Avon customer orders.
