Daily Duties at Cargotec:

managing a global business product line of $250Million in revenue, managed to grow the business by 40%, $100 Million the first year in leadership, built a sub business product line in Asia to support Asia growth, to add a production line in Malaysia to gain back the sales, to lead a diversified and remote global management team of 8 functions with direct 8 reports (director levels) and about 70 overall in organization not counting 5 global production plants and 30 sales organizations. Full P&L responsibility of the product line, including marketing, engineering, supply chain, product development, finance, after sales support, sub product lines, special projects. Develop business strategies globally and executed them locally. In EMEA (Europe Middle East Africa), we increase sales units from 180 to 375 during the first year, by pairing sales people with support team (achievement 5), in Asia, I created a sub product line to target the local market and grow Asia, gained back Malaysia market. In US, I chaired product development committees for new generation terminal tractors to stay ahead of technology competition and leader presence, promoting our vast dealer network, sitting on the dealer council committee, heavily involved with dealer network, which is the main distribution channel in Americas to maintain our definite leader status in Americas.
