Daily Duties at Olgoonik Logistics:

: As a Department of Defense Civilian Contractor I was assigned to work with the United States Armed Forces in Iraq. As a Welder my appointed place of duties were at Forward Operating Base McHenry in Hawija Iraq and Combat Operating Base Adder in Tallil also in Iraq. As a Welder my duties included determining the appropriate application required to accomplish the specific task, Welding or Brazing. I had to determine if the task was a Fabrication or Repair, the material required, Ferrous or Non-Ferrous and obtain the necessary tools and equipment to complete the task. I was required to fabricate special tools and equipment to enable the Soldiers and Mechanics to perform their duties when no tooling or equipment was available.

What they like about Olgoonik Logistics:

You give high priority to hiring firms with prestige. Market reputation and prestige of a firm may be determined through on-line research, and conversations with individuals working in your target industry. Note that firms "in the public eye" receive a great deal more critical publicity and attention than those operating with more anonymity. So as you assess your employment opportunities, be sure to seek out the positive aspects of the firm's reputation in addition to noting negative publicity the company may have received.
