Daily Duties at Homesite Insurance:
I was hired to: Manage a team of 4 team leaders and a department of 40 customer service reps in the Akron, OH call center. Develop and implement process and procedure for customer service activities, performance management structures, acquire and retain talent, develop QA process, and work with other business units to ensure company goals were met. My duties actually were: Directly manage 8-10 supervisors and department of 100+ customer service representatives to meet organizational performance objectives through performance management, training, and process/procedure creation. Oversee 4 Sales Supervisors and department of 80+ direct sales reps to meet performance goals through process development and coaching. Manage project teams comprised of members from other business units to deliver business needs. Communicate with external business partners (Progressive, Geico, AIG, GMAC, etc…)to maintain compliance with brand image and develop relationship. Create process and training for all call center (service and sales) functions. Drive process improvement through reporting, analytics, performance management and change management. Hire and retain talent to maintain operations of the customer service and sales department. Manage call center operations across multiple sites across the country (AZ, NY, MA, OH) and “at home” remote agents.
