I was actively involved in 2 projects, besides other smaller ones: 1. Software based and manual lipidomic analysis to detect global chemical changes in cell wall lipids in Rifampin induced RNA polymerase B subunit gene (rpoB) mutation in different strains of Mycobacterium tuberculosis. 2. Identifying TB specific biomarkers in the urine and plasma of TB patients different from healthy control or latent TB patients; looking for both TB lipids and their metabolites (known and unknown)by LC-MS & using MSMS to determine its structure.
