DIRECTOR OF SUSTAINMENT/PROGRAM MANAGER Oversee maintenance, facilities, quality assurance/control, distribution, and supply chain management for the Joint Logistics Integrator for Headquarters Joint Program Office Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) Vehicle Program Forward, with responsibility for lifecycle management, maintenance, repair, provisioning and distribution of 13,000 MRAP vehicles. Implement and manage process improvement, technology refreshment, and obsolescence elimination initiatives; significantly reduced costs, improved efficiency, enhanced quality, and increased operational readiness rates above 92%. Train, supervise and evaluate the work of 74 quality technicians; trained more than 2,500 personnel in various positions on production line processes. Ensure consistent compliance with applicable policies and performance standards. Manage $159M+ supply chain budget for the entire Afghanistan theater of operations, with responsibility for a $340M supply chain inventory for 10 Regional Support Maintenance Facilities and a $15M average pipeline inventory between the U.S. and Afghanistan; reduced stock levels by $68M without decreasing production levels. Managed operation and closure of a Supply Support Activity with $37M in supplies. Administer computer networks.
