Daily Duties at Gambro Healthcare/ Davita:
Setting up machines prior to the patients coming into the center, testing the water of the machine to be sure that they are clear of disinfecting solutions. Double checking with the Patient Care Technicians to be sure the patient is on the proper kidney. Assessment of patients lungs, legs for edema, and weight to provide a target amount of fluid to be removed from patient. Monthly progress notes and reviewing of patients medications. Admission assessment of patient in to the center and discharge from the center. Administration of medications for anemia, bone health and iron stores.
