Partner with a variety of internal users including New Accounts, Sales, Finance and Buyers to develop and maintain technology aimed at increasing efficiency and managing daily operations. . Prepare detailed systems requirements and documentation based on analysis of business needs. . Initiated and implemented web-portal aspect of EDI technology resulting in immediate cost-savings and increased productivity. . Reduced warehouse receiving times by 50% resulting in decreased labor costs and increased accuracy of the incoming inventory and invoices. . Eliminated Accounts Payable staffing and overtime costs through the automation of receipt and validation of thousands of invoices monthly. . Decreased time required for payment processing ensuring payment terms are met. . Successfully negotiated with 700+ vendors (almost 60%) to utilize web portal EDI. . Utilize strong technical background to coordinate with external portal vendors, internal IT and business users to measure feasibility & scope of changes. . Significantly reduce system errors and ensure continued functionality of all aspects of systems by performing automated testing prior to implementation of system updates. . Facilitated web updates migration almost 100% error free due to successful pre-migration testing. . Developing post-ops migration testing to be completed overnight allowing for ability to implement changes more frequently.
