Spearheaded comprehensive operations for Connector Division, delivering structural engineering for 120+ truss fabricators in Southeast region. Oversaw truss designs and repairs to ensure compliance with State Building Codes and hurricane-design guidelines. Resolved technical engineering issues as needed. Managed budget and employee hiring; supervised up to 22 engineers and 14 administrative staff. Provide bi-weekly updates to VP Engineering in Earth City, Missouri. • Facilitated work increase from 4K truss designs/day to 12K/day by growing department 52% and restructuring office; ultimately managed 12K-14K designs/day with zero team overtime. • Enhanced productivity by improving internal software management program identifying previously approved truss designs. • Strengthened team leaders’ problem-solving capabilities by providing targeted training. • Headed Emergency Response Team and created system for hurricane-threat preparation, encompassing both business continuity and employee safety. • Excelled in truss industry by leveraging 14 years’ experience in EWP.
