Daily Duties at Hewlett Packard Company, Inc:

Define and scope the Work Program for engagements. Gather relevant information to define requirements to review, assess and reach agreement with customer, sponsors and subject matter experts. Establish and maintain relationships with sponsors. To gather information about customers and sponsors needs and concerns. Perform assessment and impact of customer needs and respond Knowing & using appropriate, tailored communication styles with stakeholders. Identify staff with the required skills and experience to assign to project. Develop high performance teams by instructing, directing & checking the work of others essential functions. Manage cross functional and virtual teams. To assign work and delegate responsibility of team members. To clarify of the team members' understanding of their own and other' responsibilities. Communicate progress and issues to all project stakeholders and team members. Implement project monitoring and controls to validate schedule performance with Stakeholders, Program PMO and Project Managers. Establish and review issues/risks on a regular basis to mitigate schedule delays, scope creep and cost overruns. Monitor progress, readjust plan as necessary, ensure execution and deliver the product. Ensure the completed work is tested or reviewed, to ensure that it meets required standards and qualities. Compare actual progress, expenses and work effort with the project plan. Revise the plan by adjusting the tasks,schedule or resources as needed.
