Daily Duties at General Motors:
• Worked on Rapid Modeling Analysis (rMA) automated tool, which automates the vehicle Finite Element Analysis process. – A java application that takes input to eventually mesh unigraphics parts. • Worked on SOFY-TcAE Interface, where TcAE is a database that stores Unigraphics(UG) Parts, has an interface to the SOFY 2005 application that meshes UG parts. • Responsibilities: • Documented and tracked the project requirements, System Test Cases, UAT Test Cases, and Defects in Test Director. • Developed functional test case – that contains test method and test data and system test cases – to ensure that the functional requirements are met. • Performed functional and system testing by running test cases in Test Director. • Tracked Defects • Performed Regression Testing • Prepared UAT Test Cases and UAT Support • Participated in Quality Assurance Audits • Participated in all phases of the CMMI Level 3 software development life cycle from Business Modeling, Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Testing. • Developed documentation based on the Rational Unified Process Methodology – documentation such as the Business Requirements document, System Requirements document, Deployment Plan, Test Approach, etc… • Maintained project information/documentation in Niku Project Management Tool • Developed Business/System requirements in Caliber RM Requirements Management Tool • Managed project information and SDP-21 project documents in the Niku Project • Management Tool. • Conducted Peer Reviews using HP Peer Review Tool • Configuration Management Audit preparation and participation • Presented Project updates to GM leadership at the monthly Senior Management Reviews.
