Daily Duties at Northrop Grumman Technical Services, Inc (Ngts):
Working for the Defense and Government Support Division of NGTS, and with other Senior Managers to collect, organize, evaluate, and document the Best-In-Class (BIC) procedures, plans, approaches, systems, and other elements of contract execution. The end goal is to have a Repeatable Excellence Repository which can be used by NGTS to solve contract execution and management problems at existing contracts, and to help reduce cost, increase efficiency and increase the level of results possible for yet to be won contracts. This effort entails collection, analysis, comparison and selection from 5 contracts ranging in size from $20M to $250M annually. Additional duties include Providing Expert Knowledge in support of the resolution of procedural or system problems, developing new system architectures & processes, and supporting proposal responses to Requests For Proposal (RFP) across all of Northrop Grumman Corporation (NGC). 5/29/10-12/24/10 Assumed Program Manager duties for the Yuma Proving Grounds Test Support Contract, Yuma, AZ. On a part time basis, served as Program Manager for the US Army Yuma Proving Grounds Test Support Contract, Yuma, AZ., a 4 year long, 80 person, IT, Telecommunications, Mission Support, and Document Management Services Contract with 1-2 support staff remotely located at the Cold Region Test Center, Alaska. There was no incumbent Program Manager (PM) on the contract so had to, in many cases, begin performing PM duties from scratch.
