Daily Duties at Cisco Systems:

Process monthly invoices from all Cisco Systems, Inc. Telecom and Networking vendors in the U.S. and Canada Process international cross charges for IT infrastructure services and IT Client Services managed in the U.S. Provide monthly reporting metrics regarding all services. Obtain efficiencies by utilizing the Circuit Database. Reduce processing time by implementing productivity enhancements ie softcopies, online access, etc. Work closely with Accounts Payable to insure timely payment Supervised 6 employees globally Provide solutions for Alliance/Remedy cases directed to the IT billing team Work in partnership with AP and PM's to ensure Cisco services acquired via Cisco acquisitions are brought under the umbrella of existing Cisco contracts. Work closely with the Provisioning and Operations Teams to insure "new" services are validated and entered into the EMAN database Provide adhoc telecom reposts to external analyst and department owners Provide Cisco clients with monthly notifications for mobile services Educate clients about Telecom Web solutions Provide support to Business partners in implementing Telecom solutions in their respective theaters Obtain and consolidate US and Canadian accruals and adjusting entries for posting in Oracle Compile accruals review presentation for internal and external auditors Compile and validate all accrual and adjusting entries for SOX compliance Track monthly US and Canadian telecom spend against telecom reserve balance Manage all outstanding Billing Issues through resolution Work through process audits to determine billing efficiencies and manage resulting change requests Work as liaison with Vendor Management Organization to provide negotiation opportunities and vendor accountability. Working with the team, design and implement audit functionality based on expense trends, validation of usage, and IT infrastructure need. Analyze ongoing charge back methodologies to ensure proper accounting
