Daily Duties at Barnes & Noble, Llc:

Creating and auditing KPI reports Ad hoc reports as required Applied my reporting expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and data presentation to drive line fixes in production and quality with nook products. Partnered with Product, Marketing and Engineering teams to solve problems and identify trends and opportunities Inform, influence, support, and execute our product decisions through KPI reports and audits based on sales and returns detail. Build/maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics to monitor the performance of Nook products and accessories, and effectively communicate findings and insights on a regular basis to the executive management Mine massive amounts of data and extract useful product insights using customer feedback through CRM as well as SAP. Manage development of data resources, gather requirements, organize sources, and support product launches from NPI through EFFA and Random Field sample testing. Reverse Logistics Warranty and CPO repair and inventory Forecasting, demand planning and using the forecast to reduce costs in the repair facilities by driving the build mix and spread. Developed a systematic approach to RMA processing using SAP saving on costs and reducing repair and reverse logistics cycle time Developed knowledge base documentation on quality and repair processes to streamline the repair process and SOW’s to assist with standardization of processes in reverse logistics in connection with the repair facilities. Using CRM developed reports that determined call trends pertaining to product quality Using BI and Business Objects pulled various reports used to develop returns and annualized return rate forecasting which was presented to the management for quality determination and determination of necessary changes to product quality at the manufacturing site. Assisted in writing and developing SOP’s for repair facilities and the EFFA , RMA and Field Sample Processes. Used VB level programming in excel and SQL programming in access to develop more robust reporting, planning and forecasting presented to management using PowerPoint.
