Daily Duties at The University Of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center College Of Pharmacy:
Precepted students at my pharmacy to teach them the daily duties of a pharmacist plus the duties of a manager and owner.Leveraged superior subject matter expertise and teaching skill to instruct students from P1’s to P4’s in everything to do with pharmacy from counting tablets on a tray to development and assessment of student pharmacists’ communication and problem solving skills. I made it my purpose to educate them in pharmacoeconomics, epidemiology, health policies, management and marketing, drug research and development, entrepreneurism, biostatistic methods, health economics, among social and behavioral sciences. My teaching style was one of bringing real world examples such as real profit and loss data to analyze pharmacy performance and even pharmacy valuation. I like to prepare students to be able to be administrators in either a hospital corporation or in a community pharmacy by teaching them everything I know to allow them to organize pharmacy services, manage budgets, people, finances, and supplies while doing policy writing and analysis and estimate costs and advertise for customers. Meanwhile I was engaged in report grading, evaluations, and standards determination. A demonstrated record of accomplishment marked by consistently positive evaluations from students.

Working for a company with an emphasis on social values and helping society is a clear and important priority for you - a critical factor in who you choose to work for. In contrast to other factors, you place an organization's reputation for fairness and concern for the community above most other aspects of the company. As you search for a new job opportunity, it is usually possible to find out if the company is involved in the community and/or if it is addressing problems and issues in society.
