Daily Duties at Prosports Orthopedics:

• Analyzes and interprets complex operative reports in their entirety to ensure accurate, complex and consistent selection of procedures and diagnosis to assure maximum reimbursement. • Applies and adheres to correct coding principles, current NCCI rules and current accepted compliance standards. • Assists with report preparation for providers and management. • Knowledge of medical record content to adequately assign evaluation and management codes to inpatient, outpatient ie observation, emergency physician charts. • Payment posting, researching and reviewing payment discrepancies • Inputs daily encounters in a timely manner in accordance with CMS standards. • Responsible for daily validation of both paper and electronic claims to include electronic claims transmission and resolution of failed and rejected claims • Attends meetings, workshops, seminars and webinars as necessary to maintain professional credentials and to enhance skills and provide feedback to manager. • Interim manager
