Daily Duties at Victoria Healthcare Center:

Assessed, measured, and documented all wounds in the facility developing treatment plans to heal wounds and prevent any further breakdown including preventing skin breakdown all together. Performed weekly wound report to track effectiveness of ongoing treatment and determined the need for specialty mattresses, bed overlays, medication, and wound-vacs. In-serviced all nursing staff of proper handling techniques of wounds, dressing, identification of skin breakdown, documentation, and how to properly stage wounds once they have been identified.
