Daily Duties at Sea Cliff Healthcare:

Worked closely with IPA nurse practitioners and case managers to prevent overt utilization of benefits as well as to ensure the patients were receiving all medically necessary care. Obtained all authorizations for the HMO population for admission, specific treatments, diagnostic studies, outpatient procedures/appointments, DME, rehab, and discharge planning, including follow up after discharge to ensure the patient received everything that was set up prior to their discharge and after they were home. Developed wound care protocols and treatment plans specific to the patient and type of wound. Assessed residents overall condition to better treat the wound and prevent further breakdown to include specialty mattresses, wound-vacs, or specialized medications to improve healing.
