Daily Duties at Gamestop Corporation:
• Supervised District Teams of up to 30 stores and up to 300 employees • Coached and Developed store teams to exceed company goals and objectives through building customer loyalty and delivering circle of life sales • Lead District Teams through key changes for the organization to drive new initiatives in a rapidly changing sales environment • Facilitate fun and competition between stores and districts to drive higher sales results • Analyze company reports and tools to identify opportunities to recognize teams and develop action steps to improve • District Manager trainer for the Sacramento and Bay Area regions • Successfully turned around 3 districts from bottom performance to top level performance • Oversee day to day operations of stores; conducted store visits to evaluate merchandising standards, customer service, sales behaviors, cleanliness and organization, loss prevention procedures, sales promotion execution • Served on Holiday planning committee for the West Market to help guide 1,300 stores towards delivering a successful holiday season • Fill in as Acting Regional Director when my supervisor goes on vacation or military leave
