Daily Duties at Booz Allen Hamilton:
Ms. Burton, supporting Veterans Administration initiatives, led a team in tasks and job analyses to develop a curriculum course catalog by employing Agile, ADDIE, Bloom’s taxonomy, and Quality Management methodologies. This team planned a strategy, analyzed an audience of learners, and identified technical competencies and proficiency levels, reviewed and verified data, and then determined educational needs (formal and informal) by mapping courses to proficiency levels. Working with Subject Matter Experts to understand and validate documented procedures, she provided thought leadership to create a style guide to review documents against standards and formatting. Using these approaches, Ms. Burton and team identified a training curriculum of over 200 courses (e.g., e-learning, web-based, and instructor led) for several occupations as a first step in developing a comprehensive curriculum. Supporting corporate initiates, Ms. Burton developed intellectual capital on mentoring and coaching programs, and professional speaking. Also, she developed intellectual capital on virtual environments, teams, and technologies, and then; she presented this information at the 2011 Society for Applied Learning Technologies (SALT) conference. Here she used LMS- ROCCE and Plateau.
