Daily Duties at Laureate Education Inc:

Ms. Burton, supporting system integration projects, leads the implementation of distance education programs by guiding technical teams in the analyses, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of systems training projects internationally. She develops and manages project training plans, employs project management principles, and collaborates with the business units to perform organizational analyses to capture training requirements. These efforts and quality management principles lead in developing new and updating existing Banner training courses in support of new system features and/or applications. She led the systems training initiative to stand up an online university of over 300 courses and 24,000 students. Project management methodology used was Agile and Scrum. Additional responsibilities include managing course delivery administration and logistics, maintaining clear communication about training project statuses, and reporting on project training metrics. Ms. Burton leads weekly training team meetings in support of corporate initiatives. Training methodologies used are ADDIE, adult learning, and Kirkpatrick Four Levels Evaluation. Quality management methodology employed is Plan Do Check Act. Supporting corporate initiates, Ms. Burton develops intellectual capital on training, development, and implementation, as well as professional speaking.
