Daily Duties at Zenith Logistics:
Arrive at 5:00 a.m. to scan in snack labels, assign outside carrier trailers to dock locations that best suit our day's needs. Once work is routed at Kroger regional routing center, the information is sent to me where I assigned each route a door; setting it up where the maximum amount of dock space per route, sequencing it so that subsequent routes are set in the same order as the previous. I monitor the amount of work released to be be picked throughout the day, releasing work as that staging lane becomes available. I scan in the next day's bread requirements, ranging from 60 to 800 labels. At the end of the day I release items that were not picked for the last stores originally. Once the day's product requirements are met I generate necessary reports for management.
