Daily Duties at Abbott Labs:

• Successfully managed nine representatives and ranked #1 in the Region for Tricor quota accomplishment through Q4 2006 • Led customized initiatives for the Upper Manhattan district to identify business needs and exceed sales goals for Tricor, Tarka, Biaxin XL, Ominicef, Synthroid and Meridia • Increased sales / market share within the district ranking 1/9 districts regionally for Biaxin XL and Tricor in 2005 and 1/9 Tricor and Meridia in 2006 and ranked 10th in NE area out of 58 districts in 2005 and 8th in 2006 • Selected to represent Abbott at the Ambassador Program, Regional SWAT Team to enhance community relations and activities, team training, communications and strategic planning for the Medicare Prescription Drug Act • Regional coach and presented with the Abbott Leadership Development Summit award May 2006 • Flagged by the Tarka Marketing team for most effective district with message recall. District reps interviewed by Tarka brand team for national campaign leading to CD launch used for corporate training purposes. Received $20,000 additional non-restricted medical educational grant to host a Tarka CME program event led by the internationally acclaimed lipid expert and Dean of the Weill Medical College of Cornell University with over 100 physicians in attendance • Initiated, organized and received $25,000 unrestricted educational grant to sponsor and support the Greater NY Chapter of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners with over 150 nurses in attendance held at the Rockefeller Research Laboratory in Manhattan. • Received corporate grant to organize and host the First District Branch of the Medical Society of the State of New York with joint sponsorship with the New York County Medical Society accredited by the Medical Society of the state of New York to sponsor a cardiovascular CME program. Secured over 300 physician registrations at the NY Academy of Medicine • Responsible for district, regional and area product knowledge certification workshops, product training and selling skills workshops • Selected to participate in the Abbott Women’s Leadership Summit mentoring program • Improved representative product, competitive, and disease state knowledge through district training initiatives • Selected to represent Abbott at annual 2005 Work Life Congress meeting • Selected for 8-month in-house regional rotational position to study current operational strategies of upper management via regional surveys across teams and brands. Worked with cross-functional divisions to include: sampling, OEC, communications and HR • Effectively allocated promotional budget and resources towards programs and activities that drive sales and grow market share
