Daily Duties at New York State Psychological Association:
Serves as subject matter expert and liaison between the insurance industry and membership. Provide staff leadership for implementing the Association mission and goals. Maximizes relationships between membership and managed care companies that would best serve the needs of the Association. Identifies and tracks all new insurance legislation, including Health Care Reform initiatives. Provides membership training and development through virtual technology. Develops policies and procedures related to member business of practice Monitors insurance media venues as well as implementing public relations communication strategy to membership. Maximizes and develops strong relationship with outside stakeholders that will propel Association membership private business.
