Daily Duties at Newton Wellesley Hospital:
Managed budgets for inpatient and outpatient professional services which included approximately 25 departments equaling over 5.25 million in patient revenue and 7.25 in expenses (some departments did not generate direct patient revenue). Entered payroll for the administrative staff of appx 18 - other HR functions for these 18 individuals include coordinating their merit reviews (not done by me) and their merit increases for payroll. Submit per diem physician payroll for 5 departments of approximately 50 indivduals per month. Created profit and loss statements for service lines and departments for senior leadership. Responsible to draft and track physician employment agreemenst and professional services agreements. After working for a short time, senior leadership approached me about a small promotion for my role to continue to develop my skills and acknowlege I was working above the role I was hired to fill. I was then presented with the Business & Compliance Coord role.
