Daily Duties at Kvh Industries, Inc:

To manage the sales of KVH land mobile antennas for a six state region on West Coast of U.S. When in office I met with marketing and advertising departments to coordinate monthly print and web promotions. Two of six wholesalers regularly ran monthly "specials" and I wanted to be the featured brand every week. Administered this program with talented staff and coordinated with customer administrator. Total annual print budget of $300,000. Was Land Mobile representative to weekly engineering "product fix" meeting in which I pushed for approved fixes and changes. Met weekly with Technical Support Group to discuss progress on specific technical issues likely related to installation or operator error. Once resolved I delivered the resolution to dealer or consumer. I referred to it as "Escalated Customer Service". Coordinated weekly with Director of Sales regarding internal business developments and future plans. A daily activity was reviewing progress with three independent, technical sales reps that sold and promoted our products to the independent and big chain stores. Keeping them aware and motivating and training them along with problem solving were most often issues. Attended weekly meeting of the "New product Development Committee" in which I represented the wishes and features of the Land Mobile Division. Attended Management Committee meeting once a month with principal department managers of the company. Participated in quarterly technical training programs for managers. Traveled 25% of the time to work and train in the field with reps and distributor sales people. Called on dealers and distributors maintaining sound customer relations and handeling any outstanding business issuues. Dealer visits included meeting directly with technicians responsible for installing and ultimately selling/reccommending my products.
