Daily Duties at Commonwealth Of Va:
I investigated complaints of real estate transactions, private and commercial as well as conducting receiverships concerning firm escrow issues. I interviewed the parties involved, reviewed contracts and other documents, checked for proper procedure and protocol and made recommendations in my reports if the complaints were valid and needed to be dealt with by the Department of Commerce or another law enforcement agency. I was professional as I represented the Commonwealth, congenial and could ascertain from body language, mannerisms and statements fact from fiction. Most complaints were residential in nature but I did work on some real estate firms that we had to shut down due to law breaking and escrow issues. I also helped with receiverships of firms that were taken over by the Department.
