•Designed HVAC components using CATIA and Solid Works which include drafting, 3D part design, and assembly •Drafted Layout of the process at various stages using Auto CAD. •Investigated prototypes to coordinated manufacturing launch for new and revised products and documented results for future reference. •Evaluated feasibility of design, identified flaws and implemented changes by performing root cause analysis, ensuring that design meets all the standards and customer preferences •Implemented Lean Manufacturing Practices and KAIZEN activities to improve quality and productivity of the output •Eliminated wastes in the process of making evaporators to reduce the cost of manufacturing through “Seven QC tools” • Developed and implemented new methods for production flow through cycle time study at different work stations • Provided onsite support to analyze real time problems in HVAC systems by communicating with team and manager • Evaluated cost reductions, improvements and value analysis for engineering and manufacturing applications across the plant (reduced 17% of manufacturing cost in one of the projects) • Prepared training modules and imparted training to subordinates to continuously improve the methods of production
