Daily Duties at Ercot:
Senior Financial Analyst Manage expense budget of $21 million for two officers and the finance integrity for ERCOT base operations. Support 23 departments under the Compliance Office and System Operations/Planning Office with responsibilities including expense reporting, forecasting and budget analysis. Provide budget to actual report for clients within base operations including year to date/full year analysis of budget verses actual expense results. Maintain monthly forecast of expense accounts by department and communicate/review forecasts with said departments/offices’ executive and management personnel Utilize FRX, Forecaster financial tools via Great Plains. Submit expense account corrections to accounting on a monthly basis Enter budget adjustments on a monthly basis for organizational changes, position transfers and cost cutting exercises directed by executive team.
