Daily Duties at Pro Assurance:
Manage litigated and high exposure medical malpractice claims against insured physicians while requiring minimal guidance and supervision. Responsibilities encompass coverage and reserve analysis; written and oral presentations to committees; conduct fact finding investigations including gathering evidence to support decisions regarding liability, damages, strategy and case deposition results; personally conduct the settlement negotiations; reinsurance reporting; attending meetings with insureds and counsel; monitoring trials and reviewing counsel invoices.
