Daily Duties at Deciphera Pharmaceuticals:
Responsible for performing primary screening of small molecule inhibitors using cell proliferation and protein-binding shift assays in both adherent and suspension cell lines. Responsible to conceive, design and develop secondary and specialized screening to quantify cell based mechanistic assays of target inhibition. Responsible to routinely perform cytochrome p450 enzyme (ADME) assays. Responsible for development of assays that were significant in the selection of preclinical compounds and the decision to move them forward as possible drug candidates. Responsible for working individually and in team environment to design and implement molecular biology based assays and trouble shooting when needed to establish reliable screening platforms. Responsible for tracking and recording data into corporate databases Responsible for generating reports and presentations as required by the organization. Ability to multitask on different projects that are ongoing at any given time and meeting the time lines.
