Daily Duties at Applied Materials, Inc.:

-Responsible for most of the automation of manual processes in HR, creating detail design docs and implementation for Performance Management, Benefits Open Enrollment, Time Card entries, Merit increase modeling, Stock incentive and option exercise modeling and Employment Verification, eliminating paper based solutions. -Oversaw up to 39 direct reports based on project matrix organization. -Mentored, trained, implemented new system focus groups and change management. -Developed business case for funding for PeopleSoft 8 upgrade project. Did fit/gap assessment, technical platform evaluation, acquisition and implementation of new infrastructure to support application re-design. -Led the PeopleSoft 8 Human Resource upgrade project, managing over 40 core functional and technical team members through process redesign and system implementation. With the PSOFT upgrade, consolidated all local HR systems into one globally. -Documented core HR functional business processes and system interfaces for compliance. -Spearheaded the Disaster Recovery Planning and Business Continuity Plans for HR business and HR IT. -Project Manager for Stock Administration outsourcing project. Oversaw broker selection, contract negotiations, planning, conversion implementation, training and communication to employee base globally. -Data Analysis and Reporting using SQL, Crystal Reports.
