Daily Duties at Bec Tech, Inc.:

Establish standard recruiting and placement practices and procedures. Provide recruiting, interviewing, testing and recommendations to Executives and Management on candidates applying to fill vacant positions. Establish and implemented human resource policies and procedures that support the strategic goals of the organization, ensuring compliance with the EEOC, federal, state, and US employment laws. Developed a new performance management program that highlights key performance indicators (KPI). Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance. Oversee and participate in the employee relations functions by participating in the resolution of the employee grievances and counseling employees on employment related issues. Provide guidance and advice to executives and departmental managers on employment law and company policies. Design and administers benefits programs as life, health, dental and disability insurances, 401(k) plan, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance plan. Administer the COBRA program. Process all compliance reporting to the government including, but not limited to E-Verify, EEO1, VETS-100, 5500’s. Serve as the 401(k) plan’s fiduciary. Manage employee life cycles including employee orientation and separations. Assist the Controller and accounting department with various special projects, including processing payroll and invoicing functions. Organize and conduct open enrollment periods each year for the various benefit plans. Ensure that new employees are informed and enroll in selected plans in a timely fashion, providing interpretation of plan benefits to plan participants. Insure that carriers and third party administrators receive accurate and timely enrollment and termination data. Coordinate company-wide “All-Hands” meetings; publish corporate newsletters and other corporate events (i.e. picnics, social functions).
