Daily Duties at Liberty Mutual Insurance:

• Manage a geographically dispersed team located in two US locations; team is responsible for defining and specifying business requirements on a variety of LMAC Claims applications and systems • Assign staff to projects, direct their activities, and monitor progress for results. Continually review team member assignments to ensure optimal alignment to projects within the active portfolio • Work closely with project managers to ensure successful execution of requirements deliverables • Identify and recommend solutions that improve the efficiency of department processes • Manage occasional short term projects for LMAC Claims Systems & Support • Periodically lead initiatives that support departmental objectives or address issues/problems • Hire, coach, counsel and develop the staff on the team. Define individual performance objectives and development plans and ensure alignment with project, department and organizational objectives. Appraise and evaluate team and individual performance and make promotional and compensation recommendations • Onboard, monitor and track the performance of contingent staffing, when leveraged, to ensure expected results • Recommend and implement best practices for the business analysis discipline
