Daily Duties at Apex Tool Group:
Value Stream Manager. Machining and Assembly Current duties include managing a workforce of 65 salary and hourly associates to produce a wide range of consumer and industrial hand tools for the ever growing mechanics hand tool market. Managing labor and spending budgets, forecast labor to meet customer demand each month as well as driving Kaizen sustainability and using ABS/DBS and Lean tools to promote a leaner, cost driven area. Using KPI metrics of Safety, Quality, Delivery and Productivity, we are able to meet the customers’ needs on an everyday basis, ensuring a safe and cost effective environment benefiting the Company and Associates alike while promoting an environment that is friendly and fun to work in.
