Daily Duties at Forte Systems, Inc.:
• Won, developed, managed and recruited for a contract for the development of an e-commerce environment for the Electronic Information Product division of the US MINT. Staffing included Microsoft Certified Systems Engineers (MCSE’s) and Senior Network Engineers. • Managed projects involving the provision of Year 2000 (Y2K) support to the Department of Transportation (DOT) through the ITOP GWAC vehicle, as a sub to SAIC. Services included Y2K analysis, remediation, and testing activities. Recruited staff and managed the 8(a) GWAC contractor competitive bid process. • Built and retained business relationships in federal government agencies, both DOD and civilian, to sell information technology services as a total solutions provider. Services included software development, networking, project management, help desk support, and web publishing • Involved in the management of numerous IT projects for federal government clients. • Responsible for the development of new business through the sale of computer hardware, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software and services to the federal government and private sector. • As a reseller, increased sales through the development of relationships with OEM’s and Distributors. Maintained customer contacts and built a repetitive business base for the stability and growth of the company.
