Daily Duties at Tate & Lyle:
Acted as the accountant for the IT and R&D divisions, including 500 staff employees, chief information officer, R&D president and 25 department heads. Administered budgeting, cost analysis, financial reporting and asset tracking, as well as capitalized resource recognition and tracking. Interfaced with corporate headquarters in London on behalf of each division. Analyzed financial data and created reports combining data from three different SAP systems. Managed global reporting of direct costs, global budget creation and analysis, capital development tracking and the creation of monthly and various financial reports. Designed and maintained current tracking process for R&D development projects. Collaborated closely with IT and R&D department heads in analysis capacity of departmental budgets and finances. Reviewed capital expenditures for all IT and R&D projects.
