Daily Duties at Cit Group:
• Conducted financial and operational audits of Equipment Finance, Specialty Finance, Commercial Services, Structured Finance, Capital Finance business units, Treasury department (derivative products, foreign exchange, money market and hedged transactions), Accounting, and Funds Transfer and ACH payments etc. • Conducted Sarbanes-Oxley test work of key controls identified by business units and report findings along with recommendations. • Performed reviews of stated controls on type II SAS 70s. • Prepared formal written audit reports to effectively communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients and executive management. • Involved in research and reporting on client and corporate defalcations. • Supervised a staff of 4 to 7 auditors dependent on size of audit.
