Daily Duties at Akbank Headquarters:

I work in economic research department- linked to Strategy - as economic research manager. My main jobs is updating real economy data (GDP, IP, PMI, CUR) for Turkish economy and make econometric forecasts on IP and GDP. Second intensive work I have is to participate in daily and weekly reports our 6 people research team (Akbank research) publishes. In daily, I write on currency and commodity markets. In weekly, I participate in weekly research financial political- econ topics of recent importance. In addition, I write on request on any pol- econ topic as requested by BoD. This takes mostly form of pol- econ questions requested by foreign press, like Wall Street or advisory firms, like Blackstone. I also present pol- econ news once a week in updating the Treasury department.
