Daily Duties at Williams Mullen Law Firm:

I organized and managed the following: 350 to 400 personal injury insurance defense cases relating to asbestos. Approximately 50 product liability cases for a client involving defective brake systems. A lawsuit involving a trademark dispute. A medical-malpractice suit against a group of GYN oncology doctors. A product liability/personal injury matter for a client that manufactures 3-wheelers. Numerous construction defect matters on behalf of a general contractor who constructed commerical buildings. For the above matters, I organized the pleadings and discovery documents in notebooks, tabbed and indexed; organized and maintained databases of key documents on Microsoft Access; performed legeal reseach on Westlaw and Lexis/Nexis as well as factual research on various websites on the Inernet; prepared witness files and witnesses for depositions; attended and assisted at depositions; prepared exhibits and workbooks and assisted at trials. Attended Arbitrations with an attorney who arbitrated matters relating to a stocks & bonds dispute and assisted in the determination of the amount of settlement and prepared settlement documents relating to same.
