Daily Duties at High Point Clinical Trials Center:

As a Clinincal Investigator, I functioned as part of the Medical Affairs team to ensure safe and accurate trial recruitment, screening and performance. In recruitment, I provided assistance with medical eligibility for in-house screening while in screening, I helped to establish an accurate medical history helped to ensure that the patient was a suitable medical trial candidate. Prior to the actual trial period, I reviewed trial documents such as the trial protocol and investigator's brochure in addition to the source documents. During the trial procedures where they be for an extended participant stay or just an outpatient visit, I ensured that the protocol was followed by reviewing the protocol, following the source documents and then quality controlling the source documents. I also worked in participant follow up for those who failed the screening or trial process for an exclusionary reason. Further, I researched the medical literature and summarized my findings.
