Daily Duties at Ibm:
Directed all US operations for transportation including goods movement, import, export and staff operations in support of all IBM supply chain operations, manufacturing and production suppliers. Ensured that supply chain deliveries met and exceeded business targets to effectively run manufacturing and Customer delivery schedules while optimizing cost factors of mode selection. Responsible for all modes of transportation into the US, within the US and out of the US including ocean, air forwarding, air integrators, intermodal, truckload, LTL, small parcel and overnight. Ensured that cost reductions met 10% YOY reductions while continuing to improve delivery KPIs. Established relationships with IBM Brand executives, Customers and Channel Partners to ensure that logistics requirements were up-to-date and met / exceeded evolving requirements.
