Daily Duties at New Star Fresh Foods, Llc:
Reporting to the CFO & Exec V.P. Operations, implemented HR practices in an international (Mexico), multi-state, and multi-location environment with responsibilities across a diverse venue of H.R. disciplines including employee and labor relations, conflict resolution, wage and hour/payroll, corporate workers safety compliance and administration of the self insured workers compensation process (Employer Captive). Negotiation and implementation of company’s three collective bargaining agreements with the Teamsters Union. Provide advice, guidance, and counsel to executive level as well as staff management on issues related to H.R. including employee relations, performance issues, disciplinary measures and conflict resolution in a union environment Implementation and administration of company performance process, wage and salary functions including payroll processing and compliance with wage and hour laws. Develop and implementation of company policy and procedures. Advise and counsel executives and management on application of policies. Negotiation of and implementation of company health and welfare plan, 401k, executive perq’s, internal benefits offered by company.
