Daily Duties at Verizon:
Able to analyze the needs of the telecommunications industry to provide voice, data and high speed services while maintaining budgetary commitment. Able to prepare estimates for capital approval, monitor spending to ensure proper spending, write supplements if required due to scope of job changes and ensure timely turn up of assets and closure to ensure AFUDC charges stop incurring when assets are ready for service. Able to monitor and maintain the FTTP network including ensuring adequate capacity is available in the Central Office and the OSP Network. Excellent computer skills working with Microsoft Office as well as other computer based programs involving data entry to maintain the telecommunications network. Excellent knowledge of Tirks, CCP & BAAIS Excellent Customer Care Skills in handling customer complaints and requests for new services.
