Daily Duties at Alden North Shore Rehabilitation And Nursing:
Every day I do my rounds by visiting new patients who has been admitted from the day before to give orientation and answer any questions in regards of their stay and insurance coverage. I reviewed a range of 55 staff not including any therapist daily hours to avoid any overtime not being approved and prepare for payroll. I meet with therapy department manager to discuss patient comprehensive assessment and goal so I can coordinate with patient insurance case manager and physician to ensure highest quality coverage. I oversee Social Service Director/Case Manager to ensure proper documentation and proper discharge for any patient from the facility. I coordinate with insurance company for perspective patient and current patient from 5-10 patients daily. I meet with the therapist department manager, social service director and resident care coordinator nurse twice a week to discuss all 80 patients needs and coverage. I review all 75 staff records from professional license renewal date, cpr card, tb test, I-9 and W-4 to make sure they are all in compliance.
