• Established relationships with dozens of congressional offices, think tanks, State Department offices, peace and human rights organizations, Middle East education facilities and advocates • Developed specific advocacy strategies for various audiences, including decision-makers, media, opinion-shapers and the Jewish community • Appeared before Jewish, college, human rights, and general audiences in academic and general presentations and panels • Wrote papers, information sheets and advocacy materials • Edited written materials, articles, op-eds and other public materials by writers whose first language was not English and by those whose first language was English • Developed American fundraising system, including recruiting new major donors and instituting expanded individual and online fundraising systems • Established B’Tselem’s first office outside of Israel, including all administrative and legal functions • Developed short-term and long-term media strategies • Developed communications materials including: congressional packet, media packet, brochure, information and introduction sheets for general distribution • Media appearances • Oversaw all aspects of official launch, including events at Rayburn House Office Building, 6th and I Historic Synagogue and Georgetown University • Central in developing political strategies for entire organization
