Daily Duties at Allison Transmission:

… I managed the HVAC/R and Powerhouse Operations for all Allison Transmission Facilities. I managed other Skilled Trades performing work in the Powerhouse and on HVAC/R Equipment. • During 2011, I managed the completion and closure of 8,223 PM’s and Work Orders thru the Maximo CMMS. We were in 100% compliance for the first time on Safety PM Completion. (MAXIMO Records Available) • I managed all HVAC/R related business for the main campus on 10th Street along with satellite plants 15, 17 and 20. • I participated in ISO Audits twice a year. I was responsible for all Refrigerant Management for the A/C Department. I wrote the current SOP in use by Allison Transmission for Refrigerant Management. • I assigned the work and managed the work flow of 20 Journeyman Mechanics. I used the SAP timekeeping System. I made sure parts and material were available before work was assigned. • I performed monthly safety meetings and had a start of shift and end of shift meeting every day. • I performed weekly safety walks and insure any deviations are corrected in a timely manner. • Performed quarterly LOTO Audits. • I am very involved in all safety and environmental programs. I walk down work before it is assigned to make sure it can be performed safely. I then monitor work to make sure it is being performed safely per plan or procedure.
