Daily Duties at Unum:
This position was responsible for the development and implementation of strategies to effectively service a block of National Account fully insured and self-insured Integrated WVB/STD/LTD business. I managed an in-force premium of over $ 2,500,000, annual benefit disbursements of $2,000,000 and an ongoing LTD claim reserve liability of $ 1M Client Management • Supported the National Account Market Manager, Sales Executive, Account Coordinator and Enrollment Manager in the Nashville and New York sales offices. Assist sales in supporting key deals • Coordinate Installation meetings with National Sales, Account Management, Brokers and/or Employer Groups • Reviewed and supported Large Group RFP requests • Traveled quarterly to selected large case policy holders to present Comparative Reporting Analysis data • Identify, plan and execute on new product opportunities in existing verticals and new verticals • Evaluated market opportunities, assessed market maturity, determined market size and addressable market, and evaluated the competitive landscape • Interfaced with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, delivery partners, technology partners, and industry analysts to gather inputs and/or influence market opportunities • Cross-functionally drive development and launch of the product from concept to delivery • Enable market-facing teams with tools that accelerate the selling and services processes • Presented Absenteeism and Productivity Benefit Analysis to assigned National Accounts stakeholders
