Daily Duties at Army Wounded Warrior Program :
Knowledgeable of AW2 mission to mitigate non-clinical care transitional gaps when reintegrating Soldiers who incurred severely debilitating medical conditions related to their military service. Managed key execution projects and core team members as the subject matter expert to improve transitional care needs by aligning program business practices with industry standards and research findings into operational practice standards. Directed the extraction of information from medical treatment facilities worldwide; gathering multiple updates from medical facilities in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Europe and thus enabling accurate timely notification to assign program staff to assist with non-clinical case management at time of injury. Routinely applied awareness in Army medical management and in medical case management operations related to non-clinical care management in order to educate, facilitate, and assist nationally dispersed staff with structuring comprehensive treatment plans for severely wounded, ill, and injured Soldiers and Veterans. Conducted detailed analyses of both administrative and complex clinical and medical processes. Designed and structured an innovative case management model specific to the AW2 program population implemented program-wide. Utilization of the case management model served as the base for reporting the program strategic performance methods and for analytical measurements aligned to regulations regarding administrative process and medical non-clinical case management. Executed the model to design methods and techniques for developing, analyzing and measuring performance effectiveness and efficiencies employed to interpret new or improvement in program business rules; Established coordination and networking strategic and operational agencies directly exchanging key information through lead volunteer service organizations supporting Soldiers and Veterans on benefits, entitlements, and community resources. Coordinated with intra and internal agencies to research and answer congressional investigations
